The SSR66G1 keyboard is a small footprint rear mount keyboard with full travel, typing keys and is suitable for all kiosk applications and public access systems. The keyswitches provide similar feel to a standard keyboard with stiffer action.

The stainless steel keycaps are secured against willful destruction, are vandal-proof and corrosion resistant. The heavy duty cast aluminium chassis is equally rugged and damage resistant.

The construction is weather-proof especially under extreme climatic conditions, water proof (spray, rain, splashing, hose-directed water) and ensures operation in hostile environments. The keyboard is sealed against the ingress or liquid and dirt to IP65 specification when mounted in a suitable enclosure.

The metal keys are raised for easy typing action and are protected against twisting and levering, they can not be dislodged from the front, or defaced by removing the key covers or laser etched legends.
Various national language layouts can be supplied as can custom key legends.
